Sam is an accomplished peptide chemist and consultant with 30+ years of strategic leadership and manufacturing experience. He is the founder and former CEO of New England Peptide (NEP), a worldwide leader in peptide and antibody production. Sam has held scientific positions at multiple peptide and antibody corporations including Quality Controlled Biochemicals, Leukosite, Repligen, NEP, Excipio, and Sigma Genosys. His executive experience includes multiple scientific acquisitions and divestitures as well as peptide design consultation with biotechnology firms worldwide.
Sam was honored by the Worcester Business Journal as a “40 under 40” recipient, and his corporation NEP won “Start-Up of the Year” in Central Massachusetts in 1999 and “2020 Manufacturer of the Year”. Sam graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors Program at Northeastern University with B.S. in Biology.
